This article shows you how to set up your site identity inside your Appropriate Websites dashboard. Your site identity covers your logo and favicon which appear across your entire website.
How to Access Site Management
Step 1 — Log in to your Appropriate Websites dashboard at studio.appropriatewebsites.com.au
Step 2 — Click Website Management in the left hand menu
Step 3 — The Site Management page will open showing two sections; Media Settings and Meta
Media Settings
The Media Settings section contains four options.
Site Identity is where you manage your site logo and favicon. Click Site Identity to upload or update your logo and favicon.
Menus is where you create and organise the navigation menus that appear on your website. Click Menus to add, remove, or reorder menu items.
Site Links is where you configure important links and icons used across your website such as your social media links.
Cookie Settings is where you configure cookie consent and privacy settings for your website to comply with privacy regulations.
Meta
The Meta section contains four options that affect how your website appears to search engines like Google.
Global Structured Data is where you configure structured data markup for your organisation and website to help search engines better understand your business.
Site Description is where you document what your website is about with multiple description entries.
Site Keywords is where you manage the target keywords for your website to help with SEO optimisation.
Site Scripts is where you add and manage custom JavaScript and CSS scripts for your website such as Google Analytics tracking codes.
How to Update Your Site Identity
Step 1 — Click Website Management in the left hand menu
Step 2 — Click Site Identity under Media Settings
Step 3 — Upload your logo and favicon
Step 4 — Click Save
