How to Edit Text on Any Page

This article shows you how to edit the written content on any page of your website from inside your Appropriate Websites dashboard.

Step 1: Log in to your Appropriate Websites dashboard at studio.appropriatewebsites.com.au

Step 2: Click Pages under the Content section in the left hand menu

Step 3: Find the page you want to edit and click Edit

Step 4: Your page will open in the editor showing all the content blocks on that page

Step 5: Find the text field you want to update and click directly inside it

Step 6: Delete the existing text and type your new content

Step 7: Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page

Step 8: Your changes are now live on your website immediately

Important Note

Clicking Save Changes publishes your content live on your website straight away. Make sure you are happy with your content before saving.

Q1: I saved my changes but they are not showing on my live website. What do I do?

A: Clear your browser cache and refresh your website. If the content is still not updated contact support at [email protected].

Q2: Can I undo a change I have made?

A: Once you have clicked Save Changes your content goes live immediately and cannot be automatically undone. If you need to revert a change simply edit the text again and save.
